which is held in The Park at Hatfield House usually on the first Sunday in October.

The Welwyn-Hatfield Walk
a sponsored 6 or 11 mile (10 or 18 km) Walk from Welwyn Garden City, through Sherrardswood, to the Ayots, Shaw’s Corner and the Lamer Estate and back through the Brocket Estate. The WHWalk is usually held at bluebell time, the end of April, beginning of May and run jointly with the neighbouring Rotary Club of Welwyn Garden City. The 2012 WHWalk is to be held on Sunday 29 April.
